Product details
A thick layer of oil paint is emerging boldly in the shimmering light. Pure colors are applied with a heavy spatula. Multiple layers are juxtaposed in what becomes a game of simultaneous contrasts that excite the retina.
With it's nonchalant attitude, a light pink/yellow mare is glancing royally at us. "Free Spirit" is certainly an eye-catcher - a work that will incite discussion and amusement. Unexpected as it may be, it represents one of Virtosu's most successful series: The Horses.
Allow yourself the luxury of being mesmerized by this amazingly surreal work.
