Product details

In Enchantment, the artist invites us into a nocturnal fever dream—an expansive, crimson jungle where time feels suspended and reason lies toppled in the grass. Stretching infinitely, the dense canopy of palm trees dissolves into darkness, interrupted only by a stream whose presence is not heard but seen—illuminated by the soft, golden glow of a chandelier.

But this chandelier is not suspended from above. It lies fallen, lavish yet discarded, its ornate arms tangled in the underbrush. Still ablaze with light, it casts an eerie radiance across the scene, bathing the foliage and water in hues of yellow, orange, and blood-red—a palette reminiscent of the dystopian glow of Blade Runner.

This visual tension—between beauty and ruin, control and chaos—forms the heart of the work. The jungle here becomes a metaphor for the subconscious: lush, unknowable, teeming with unspoken memories. The chandelier, an emblem of rationalism, enlightenment, and bourgeois decadence, lies defeated, illuminating its own downfall.

Enchantment is not just a painting; it's a psychological landscape. It speaks of fall from grace, the fragility of constructed ideals, and the quiet violence of losing one's bearings—both individually and collectively. With haunting elegance, the work captures the moment after collapse, when beauty still lingers, but hope has fled.

For collectors, Enchantment is a compelling acquisition—visually arresting, narratively rich, and deeply symbolic. It stands at the intersection of contemporary myth-making and timeless allegory, offering endless interpretive layers and a powerful emotional resonance.
